- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex Tucson, located in Tucson Arizona, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, intends to make a sole source award to Dexis LLC, 4425 Alexander Drive, Alpharetta, GA 30022. This is for the acquisition of six (6) Dexis Digital Platinum X-ray System part number 5102S, which includes 1 intra oral sensor, one Position-It Kit, Carrying Case and 12 month Dexcare Service. The NAICS Code is 423450. To the best of our knowledge, this product can only be purchased from Dexis, LLC. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, as no solicitation document is available. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the date of this published synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. The Federal Bureau of Prisons is standardizing equipment throughout all institutions. The Dexis Digital Platinum X-ray System part number 5102S is the only brand and model approved by the Health Services Division for purchase for FCC Tucson. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, Federal Correctional Complex Tucson, Attn: Dennis Vroegh, 8901 S. Wilmot Rd, Tucson, AZ 85756. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, FCC Tucson will proceed with the sole-source negotiated award to Dexis, LLC.
