- Description:The US Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for the contractor to provide all labor, materials, services, and equipment to provide genuine OEM Alco Engine replacement parts. Aftermarket parts, such as Preco or Breco, are not acceptable. The parts provided must be of the OEM supplier. All parts being requested must be marked or labeled with the assigned Spares Designation Number, Contract Order Number, PR&C Number, Alco Part Number, Description or Nomenclature, Quantity and Weight. The material must be individually packaged in its own carton or package. All of the individual items can be bulk packed into a large container. All of the bulk containers must be marked with the material contained within. All work shall be in accordance with the parts listed in the line item in the Request for Quote. The total performance period for this procurement will be thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of the order. The NAICS code is 333618 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. The acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The acquisition will be solicited using the Commercial Items procurement process prescribed in Part 12 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The Solicitation Number W912BU-10-T-0060 will be issued on or about 09 August 2010 with a closing date on or about 23 August 2010 at 1200 hours. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) home page located at HTTPS://www.fbo.gov. Registration for plans and specifications should be made via FBO Internet homepage. Hard copies will not be available and written or fax requests will not be accepted. The official media of distribution for this RFQ is the web. It is the quoters responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps web site for any amendments. Interested firms must register at FedBizOpps in order to access the solicitation. Quoters are responsible for printing copies of the RFQ and any amendments. All quotes are to be delivered to: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers CENAP-CT-S, Wanamaker Building, Room 643, 100 Penn Square East, Philadelphia, PA 19107-3390, ATTN: Robert Hutcheon. All contractors are required to be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registry (CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. Information on getting registered may be obtained by accessing the CCR website at www.ccr.gov. Instructions will be included in the solicitation. Also, firms who receive a Federal contract in excess of $25,000.00 are required by legislation to submit an annual VETS-100 Report on your employment of targeted veterans.
