- The USCG SURFACES FORCES LOGISTIC CENTER, MEC-PRODUCT LINE has a requirement to procure: HEATING ELEMENTS, (QTY 9 EACH) NSN: 4540011794030 PART NO. TM6305E3 or Equal (Same salient characteristics features). MFG. CHROMALOX INCORPORATED Potential Sources desiring to furnish other than Chromalox heating element are required to submit the following information: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered part 2) 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufacture red. 3) This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Note* the submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this order. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirement. EVALUATION: (a) Price and Price related factors (b) Technical Ability to furnished offered Parts (c) Past performance Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the USCGSFLC, Warehouse Receiving Room Bldg. 88, and 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. NOTE* this procurement is Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAISCS Code for this solicitation is 333414, and the Small Business sized standard 500. The resultant Purchase Order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR PART 13.5. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency. Request for Quotation, HSCG4010Q20133 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or about 11 August, 2010. All quotations are due no later than COB, 23 August, 2010 at 1PM. It is anticipated that award will be made by 24 August, 2010. Contractors shall use ORCA to electronically submit annual representations and certifications (REPS & CERTS) in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-3, and must be actively register in CONTRACTOR CENTRAL REGISTRATION, (CCR) www.ccr.gov It is the offerors responsibility to monitor and upload the (Request for Quotation) in the FBO system and other changes or amendments to this quotation.
