- Sole Source Justification Public Announcement of Intent to Purchase on a Sole Source Basis. The Government intends to procure: Advertising for AFIT's Higher Learning Commission Visit to be published in the Air Force, Army, Marine, and Navy Times for Invitation for Third Party comments. NAICS: 541850, FSC: R426, SIZE STANDARD: $7 Million. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. The proposed source is Military Times Media Group. The proposed action is to acquire access to the Stratfor Premium Enterprise Intelligence Online for AF Libraries. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Air Force. The government will consider any quotations received within 3 days of issuance of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement, and the Government does not intend to pay for any information received in response to this announcement. Any quotations should be emailed to Charles.Kindermann@wpafb.af.mil and Kristin.Thompson@wpafb.af.mil no later than 11 Aug 2010 at 4PM EST.
