- The Providence VA Medical Center has a requirement for a contractor to provide the contractor-owned (leased) DI Water System to include installation with preventive maintenance and 24 hour emergency service call response for the Main Lab area at the VA Medical Center, 830 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI 02908. The Contractor must be capable to provide all labor, equipment, materials, apparatus, tools, transportation, supervision, permits and disposal necessary to perform these services. The VA Medical Center is soliciting a Firm-Fixed price contract with a performance period to include a Base Year from 10/1/10 - 9/30/11 with (3) Three One Year Option Periods. The NAICS Code is 333298 and the size standard is 500 employees. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors are technical capabilities, past performance, and price. The solicitation is full and open and will be available on or about August 10, 2010. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessible to view on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov which will include the scope of work containing the specifications, pricing schedule, requirements and necessary information. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely on this website. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued.
