- This office will issue a Request for Quotations which will result in a firm-fixed price contract(s) for road reconditioning on the Fredericktown Ranger District of the Mark Twain National Forest in Iron and Madison Counties, Missouri. Work includes, but is not limited to: mobilization, subexcavation, drainage excavation, placement of riprap, placement and compaction of aggregate, road reconditioning, and embankment construction. The solicitation will consist of two items. Total length of road on Item 1 is 1.6 miles and the total length of road on Item 2 is 0.8 mile. This solicitation is open to both large and small business participation in accordance with FAR 19.1007. Award(s) will be made based on the best value to the Government and may be made on the basis of the initial offers received. IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD, POTENTIAL CONTRACTORS MUST COMPLY WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS OF FAR 52.204-7, CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION. The Government estimate for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237310. The small business size standard is $33.5 million in average annual receipts for the past 3 fiscal years.
