- THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This opportunity is available only to The MITRE Corporation (MITRE) under its Internal Revenue Service/Department of Veterans Affairs Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) contract. The US Department of Health and Human Services, Program Support Center, on behalf of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), has a requirement to develop a thought paper on how the disciplines of disaster recovery, business continuity and mission assurance could effectively be applied to the Health Information Exchange resiliency. As a FFRDC the MITRE Corporation (MITRE) is uniquely qualified to apply its combined expertise in identity and credential management, privacy, privacy enhancing technologies, enterprise network application security architectures, security assessments and standards to address ONC challenges. No other source is able to offer technology-and product-neutral advice. MITRE can provide conflict-free information technology systems modernization support.
