- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to solicit, on a full and open competition a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for office chairs, lab stools, fume hoods, lab countertops, and lab benches of different sizes and dimensions. A site visit will be required after award to confirm room dimensions with the dimensions of the items purchased. This acquisition is for a commercial item and will be conducted using FAR Part 12 and 13.5. A solicitation with a detailed list of requirements will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online Website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEBBIZOPPS website at http://vsearch2.eps.gov/servlet/searchservlet on or about 08/19/2010. The solicitation will close on or about 09/02/2010. A site visit will be required within the first three weeks after award. The visit shall only be for one person, for one day to China Lake, CA to be coordinated with the technical customers. Delivery will be FOB Destination 90 days after the site visit is completed. Award is anticipated on or about 10/27/2010. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written Request for Quotation (RFQ). All responses shall be submitted in writing to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division Code 210000D, Attn: Kristin Ferguson, 429 E.
