- Commerical Terms & Conditions. RFP 219092-JM-10 REQUIREMENTS FOR REPLACEMENT SEED LASER OPTICAL: 1. Target Wavelength = 1064.14 nm 2. Pulse rate = 80 MHz 3. Pulse width = 140 psec ±25 psec FWHM 4. Beam Quality = TEM 00 5. M 2 ≤ 1.1 6. Average output power 300 mW; 7. Power stability = ≤ 2% RMS over 8 hour period 8. 0.1% RMS amplitude noise (>1 kHz) 9. Polarization = linear, 1:200, prefer horizontal 10. Smooth Gaussian optical spectrum <0.1 nm without modulation MECHANICAL/OTHER: 11. Capable of being mounted and operated on its feet as well as lying on either side 12. Air cooled 13. 115 VAC, 60 Hz input power 14. Dimensions 1 : H≤6.25", W≤8.5", and L≤19.25" 15. Beam height 1 ≤2.75", preferably centered 16. Head not more than 6 kg (will be hanging on a breadboard) 17. Sync out = photodiode pick (or equivalent) coincident with light out; 50Ω, ≥1V 18. Appropriate as seed laser for YAG amplifier 19. Diode-pumped solid state (to replace existing diode-pumped solid state seed laser) 20. Cable between laser head and control unit must be at least 3 meters long 21. Company must have a presence in the US and minimum of 5 similar units installed and operating in the US. Offerors are to complete the attached RFP not later than 12:00 Noon August 19, 2010 and provide: Technical Proposal - OFFEROR shall provide the following: •1. OFFEROR shall clearly demonstrate that the Seed Laser meets the Mandatory Requirements set forth above by providing brochure, manufacturer's specifications and other documentation as necessary. •2. OFFEROR shall provide the following information regarding five ( 5) similar units installed and operating in the US.
