- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for connectors for cryogenic detector electronics:80 ea. Part #MWDMIL-100SSB 80 ea. Part #MWDMIL-100PSB 70 ea. Part #MWDMIL-100SCBSPUThese connectors must work at cryogenic temperatures and must be compatible with currentinstrumentation and provide a condensed 6-row 100 pin MDM connector.NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items Glenair pursuant to FAR 13.106, for theacquisition of supplies or services determined to be reasonably available from only onesource.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 2:30PM EST on datelisted above. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposeof determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
