- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation FA487710Q0632 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-43, DFARS, DCN 20100810, AFFARS AFAC 2010-0402. The NAICS code is 423830 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation; 0001-QTY 1 EA-CHICAGO 3-ROLL SINGLE PINCH HYDRAULIC PLATE BENDING ROLLS. IPR 4375, CAPACITY: 3/8 X 50". DIAMETER OF ROLLS: 7" Hydraulic powered bending roll adjustment Push button GO-TO positioning of bending roll with Digital Readout for easy repeat parts Push button Hydraulic powered pinch roll adjustment Push button Hydraulic powered opening of top roll for finished part removal Hydraulic powered tilting of bending roll Forged steel rolls hardened to RC45 cone frming attachment included Push button pendant control Spherical roller bearings on all 3 roll shafts Emergency stop cable around the machine Keyed main on-off switch. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable.
