- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is EA133E-10-RQ-1274. The Financial Management Branch, NCDC, 151 Patton Ave., Asheville, North Carolina has a requirement for 1.) Printing and mailing of the 2009 State of the Climate Report, estimated 222 pages. Copyright for articles will be denied to the private publisher even though the journal, encyclopedia, or textbook may be copyrighted as a whole. Royalty payments will not be paid to the Government. One copy to ASC to satisfy JCP/Congressional Depository Library requirement. 1 JOB. 2.) Editing, estimated 190 hours. Delivery by August 25, 2010. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for an award of a Federal contract. For information regarding registration in CCR, contact the CCR website at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. Additionally, each offeror must obtain, and provide with the quote, their nine-digit Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is T011 and the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 813920, the small business size standard is $7.0 million dollars or less. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for this requirement utilizing simplified acquisition procedures. FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference and FAR 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will make their full text available.
