- Description
- The Gifford Pinchot National Forest intends to acquire construction services for asphalt patching of Forest Road 25 at approximately mile post 15.2. The estimated cost of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A Request for Proposal will be issued on or around August 26, 2010. As this is a total HUBZone set aside, only certified HUBZone concerns will be considered for award. The applicable NAICS code is 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction - with a corresponding small business size standard of $33.5 million. Offerors will be evaluated on price, experience, past performance and other factors. A single contract will be awarded to the offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the best value to the government. Work is expected to begin on or about September 13, 2010, and shall be completed within 30 days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award.
