- Combined Drawings Combined Specifications WR-ALC/PKOC Infrastructure Support Branch, Robins AFB, GA offers this opportunity to be accomplished using competitive acquisition procedures for HUB Zone Certified Contractors only. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 561621. The project consists of all tools, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision necessary to remove the entire existing fire alarm system and mass notification system in Buildings 557 and 560 (Base Bid) and install a new combined fire alarm/mass notification system. Options to include additional projects/buildings is included in this RFP. The projects shall be done in Phases. Phase 1 (Design) consists of preparation of the drawings, specifications, and submittals to detail a complete fire alarm/mass notification design for each building. Phase 2 (Build) consists of the construction and implementation of the approved design completed in Phase 1 for the respective buildings. The rough order of magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This range does not necessarily reflect the proximity of the actual estimated cost. To be eligible for contract award, prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http:www.ccr.gov/. Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov. Any questions in regards to this notice must be submitted in writing or via email to the Primary POC Ryan Byrd ( ryan.byrd@robins.af.mil ). *Note 1: The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps witin the next few business days. All offerors will be required to fill out the solicitation in its entirity (i.e. line item prices, delivery schedule, fill-in clauses, etc...). Offerors should also complete and return the "Price Summary" spreadsheet with their completed solicitation. *Note 2: A site visit is scheduled for Thursday, 19 August 2010 and Friday, 20 August 2010 beginning at 8:00am (EST) each day. We will meet in the Museum of Aviation parking lot at 7:45am. Directions can be found at www.museumofaviation.org. There shall be no more than two registered parties per contractor. Attendees shall register by emailing ryan.byrd@robins.af.mil no later than COB 17 August 2010. If you have initial questions regarding the Specifications, please email them to the primary POC when you register for the site visit.
