- The U.S. Army Medical Command, Southern Region Contracting Office-East in support of Winn Army Community Hospital, Fort Stewart, Georgia has a requirement for the following: Service Contract to perform maintenance on two Sterrad 200, one Sterrad NX Plasma Sterilizers, and one Scope Washer. Service shall include all adjustments, calibration, repairs, parts replacement and all other methods deemed necessary to maintain the equipment in its normal operating condition. All equipment must be maintained in an operational state 98% of the time with no more than 2% downtime within a thirty day period. Downtime is defined as time immediately upon equipment failure until the time equipment is fully operational. This requirement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 811219. This requirement will be solicited as unrestricted and all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The period of performance is one base year from 1 October 2010 30 September 2011 and two option years. The solicitation (W91YTV-10-R-0012) will be issued on or about 17 August 10 and can be downloaded from the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov with a response closing date of 2 September 2010.
