- Description
- The U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, Missouri intends to solicit for the provision of Non-Personal Spanish Interpreter services. The successful contractor will be responsible to provide documentation to fluently interpret the Spanish language with basic knowledge of medical and legal terminology, experience with inmate patients in prison clinics and legal settings, and acceptance within the Federal and State Court Systems as a qualified foreign language interpreter. This quotation should result in the offer of a contract award which will consist of a base year with an option to renew for four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. Estimated usage quantities for service are 50 one hour sessions per month for base and four option years. The quotation will be made available on or about August 23, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Service's Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http:www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this quotation, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 9, 2010. This quotation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System (NACIS) code is 541930 and the applicable small business size standard is $7 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Per FAR 52.212-3, an offeror may complete their representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. If not completed online, a hard copy is required. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
