- Contractor shall completely prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials and equipment necessary to renovate and construct new space, which includes but is not limited to architectural, interior finishes, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work as shown and specified for the project 'B211 Center Wing Addition' project number 538-CSI-101. Work to be completed within 480 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The calendar days account for the planned shutdown period between phases. Plans, specifications and drawings will be available on-line o/a August 23, 2010. All specifications and drawings will be available on-line through this website and no hard copies will be issued. Estimated cost range is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. A pre-bid conference will be held Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. local time in Building 1, Room 121, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio. All potential contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers are urged to attend as this will be the only site visit for this project. Bid opening is Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Building 1, Room 121, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Contractors bidding this project should ensure they are registered in VetBiz Registry at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/, under the appropriate NAICS code for this procurement.
