- Description
- This is a requirement for the purchase of Constant Speed Drive adapter kits in support of the B-52 and F-15E test stand models K400B, K938, K738 and K938-S7. The contractor will be required to supply and F-15E and B-52 CSD test stand adapter kit for use on the model test stands listed above. Each adapter kit shall be in new condition. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract. This acquisition will be Full & Open for competition. The solicitation number will be FA8125-10-Q-0390. The item and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: B-52 (ECRC) Generator Drive Stand Adapter A18070 to include on-site start-up and training. QTY: 1 EA Item 0002: F-15E CSD adapter equivalent to T.O. part number 746314, to include on-site start-up and training. QTY: 1 EA The approximate solicitation issue date will be 16 August 2010. Please do not submit quotes until the actual solicitation is posted to www.fbo.gov under the search terms "FA8125-10-Q-0390." All potential offerors MUST complete the SF 1449 solicitation once it is posted and submit to this office via EMAIL ONLY. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
