Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice: The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) Contracting Office (90C) anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Priced construction contract for construction of a new Laundry facility, Project Number: 674A4-514, located at the VA Medical Center, 4800 Memorial Drive, Waco, Texas. Project consists of, but is not limited to; completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, utilities, vegetation, site fixtures, and paving; excavation, including rock excavation; demolition and removal of site mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and components; construction of new partitions, frames, doors, hardware, glass, glazing, windows, storefront systems, railings, screens, millwork/casework, and thermal and moisture protection; new wall, ceiling and floor finishes; new structural framing, floors and roof; site work, including utilities, landscaping, irrigation, sidewalks, parking and other paving; new MEP systems and subsystems (both interior and exterior); new interior and exterior signage; and other Fixtures, Furniture and Equipment (FF&E), including but not limited to the following: building access control system, CCTV, cable TV, window coverings, IT and phone equipment, office casework, kitchen and break room equipment, furniture (both interior and exterior), equipment for locker room, training rooms and maintenance room, Building 93 drop off / entrance canopy, generator building 93 expansion and additional parking and utility improvements. The method of procurement shall be a Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with Parts 14 and 36 of the FAR, with anticipated issued date of or before October 1, 2010 with a proposed closing date of November 1, 2010. This requirement is a competitive offer, Set Aside 100% for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINES (SDVOSB), under Public Law 109-461 (38 USC 8127). The applicable NAISC code is 232610, $33.5 MIL. COST RANGER: $5,000,000.00 - $10,000,000.00.
