- This award is for a performance-based, non-personal services contract to design, implement, and maintain a Web Shopping solution for United States Marine Corp retail stores located at the following bases throughout the continental United States: -Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia -Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina -Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, Georgia -Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, California -Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, 29 Palms, California -One existing GSA Global Supply Store (location to be determined at a later date) The web shopping requirement involves technical requirements development, system customization and system integration, web design, and web hosting services. This was a sole source 8(a) award issued via the partnership agreement between the Small Business Administration and the General Services Administration. Contract award using other than full and open competition found authorized by statute in accordance with FAR 6.302-5(b)(4). The web shopping requirement was offered to the SBA on April 13, 2010 and was accepted on April 15, 2010. The request for proposal was issued to the selected 8(a) participant on April 26, 2010 with a response due date of June 4, 2010. Amendment PO-0001 was issued June 2, 2010. Due date for response was extended to June 9, 2010. Amendment PO-0002 was issued June 28, 2010. Due date for response to the RFP IAW Amendment PO-0002 was extended to June 30, 2010. Contract type is firm-fixed price with a one-year base period and four one-year options. The offered contract amount is $3,443,574.56. The base period is from August 1, 2010 through July 31, 2010. If the options are exercised, the contract period may be extended through July 31, 2015.
