Description

NOTICE OF INTENT - Brand Name Justification for BLAZE Advisor S/W Renewal for CDEr3 Software and Maintenance Agreement The Internal Revenue Service intends to award a purchase order for commercial items. We will be issuing an order to a Federal Supply Service (FSS) schedule contractor. This purchase order will be made under the Authority of FAR Part 11.105 and FAR Part 52.211-6 - Brand Name or Equal. The IRS is purchasing CDEr3, Blaze Advisor – Development Maintenance (Standard) - Annual – Per Developer, 280-OOMN-08 DVL10 and Blaze Advisor – Deployment Maintenance (Standard) - Annual – Per Dedicated CPU (Unix or Windows), 280-OOMN-08 UW. CDEr3 will provide the capability for IRS to apply risk-based analysis to identify potential non-compliance and improve the examination workload selection process. CDEr3 formerly known as CWISE and RBE is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) application/system that has been categorized as a Non-major Application. The delivery order will be fulfilled by on GSA FSS contractor. Requisition Number is Q-o-0-QF-30-00-B24 000. Award will be made on or before September 1, 2010.
