- AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT - ARRA - PROCUREMENT This notice is issued to amend the Pre-Solicitation Announcement with the following changes: 1. Solicitation Request for Proposal No. RMK00100025 is changed to RA001110230: 2. The announced requirement changes from Road Construction and Repair services to the Bureau of Indian Affairs twelve (12) Regional Areas throughout the United States TO ROAD CONSTRUCTION PROJECT NO. WCIR 1(2) ON THE WEST COCOPAH INDIAN RESERVATION, YUMA, ARIZONA. RECOVERY - TAS::14 2302::TAS Project H65A0200 The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Regional Office, requires a firm fixed-price construction contract and the procurement method is Negotiated Procedures, FAR Part 15 and 36. This project will utilize the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Project (FP-03), except where otherwise indicated in the solicitation. The Standard Specifications are available at http://fih.fhwa.dot.gov. The solicitation is "Full and Open Competition". The estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $50,000.00 to $100,000.00. The Period of Performance is 120 calendar days. Offerors are expected and responsible to inspect and verify the site conditions where the work is to be performed. This project is classified under NAICS Code 237310 and has a size standard of $33.5 Milllion. RECOVERY ACT - This notice is released to announce the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Western Regional Office (WRO), intends to award a firm-fixed price construction project. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and services to complete construction activities for Hot Asphalt-Rubber chip Sealing and Pavement Markings on 0.900 Miles of Route 1 on the West Cocopah Indian Reservation, Yuma County, Arizona located in Southwest Arizona, in accordance with the design drawing, specification, wage rates and all contract requirements. The procurement method is Negotiated Procedures, FAR Part 15 and 36. This project will utilize the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Project (FP-03), except where otherwise indicated in the solicitation. The Standard Specifications are available at http://fih.fhwa.dot.gov. This requirement is not Set-Aside. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $50,000.00 to $100,000.00. This solicitation is funded by American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), Public Law 111-5; and the contractor shall comply with ARRA statute and all appplicable laws, regulations, provisions, policies, procedures and clauses, including but not limited to meeting the requirements of Sec. 1512 of the ARRA and other accountability and transparency conditions. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and Certificate of Insurance are required upon award. Offerors are required to fequently check for updates at the website located at www.fbo.gov for updates and to download the solicitation package.
