Description
Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia (NAVFAC EURAFSWA) intends to conduct a competitive procurement for a contractor to PROVIDE AND INSTALL BRICK PAVERS at various locations on Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Africa. Requirements include; all management, tools, supplies, equipment and applicable licenses and permits for the installation of brick pavers at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. Upon notification of award, the contractor shall commence with the design phase. The design shall include all work necessary to make usable and complete walkways, patios and other uses from brick pavers. The successful offeror will be required to: Design, provide and install brick pavers at various locations on or around Camp Lemonnier. Installation to include demolition/removal of existing walkways and site preparation as needed to install new brick paver walkways, patios and other uses. Conduct a field Site Survey prior to commencement of work on each task order to design, locate and identify required paving. As work will occur at various locations, contractors work schedule shall be coordinated with Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Director, or the assigned representative. All dimensions given are approximate. Contractor is responsible for final design. NAVFAC EURAFSWA plans to award one (1) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base year and up to 4 option years for a not to exceed value of $750,000 per year. The IDIQ contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and will offer the "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" to the government. Offerors must be registered in the Central contractors Registration (CCR) database prior to proposal submissions. Offerors may obtain information on registration requirements via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The offeror is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data within the CCR database, and for any liability resulting from the government's reliance on any inaccurate or incomplete data. The Request for Proposal and its attached documents is expected to be posted to EuroNECO under Solicitation Number N33191-10-R-0005 around the first half of September 2010.
