Description
Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia (NAVFAC EURAFSWA) intends to conduct a competitive procurement for a contractor to PROVIDE AND INSTALL VARIOUS LANDSCAPING at various locations in Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Africa. Requirements include all management, tools, supplies, equipment and applicable licenses and permits for the installation and maintenance of landscaping at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. Upon notification of award, the contractor shall commence with the design phase. The design shall include recommending a list of plants and planting plans that are indigenous to Djibouti and will grow with minimal upkeep and maintenance. The successful offeror will be required to: design, provide, install and maintain indigenous landscaping that will grow with minimum upkeep and maintenance. Design, provide and install landscaping at various locations on or around Camp Lemonnier. Installation to include staking and anchoring plants so that they grow without interfering with walkways, sidewalks and roads. Plants are to include trees, shrubs, flowers and ground cover. NAVFAC EURAFSWA plans to award one (1) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base year and up to 4 option years for a not to exceed value of $750,000 per year. The IDIQ contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and will offer the "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" to the government. Offerors must be registered in the Central contractors Registration (CCR) database prior to proposal submissions. Offerors may obtain information on registration requirements via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The offeror is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data within the CCR database, and for any liability resulting from the government's reliance on any inaccurate or incomplete data. The Request for Proposal and its attached documents is expected to be posted to EuroNECO under Solicitation Number N33191-10-R-0004 around the first half of September 2010.
