Description
The General Services Administration seeks to lease contract parking consisting of 212 reserved parking spaces. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) firm, and must be fully serviced. The offered parking spaces shall be available for use 24/7. The proposed space must be located within the following delineated area: Within a one block radius of the United States Customs House located at 423 Canal St. New Orleans, LA 70130. Specifically the boundaries shall be considered the following: Northern Boundary: From the intersection of Iberville St. and Basin St. in an easterly direction to the intersection of Iberville St. and Wells St. Eastern Boundary: From the intersection of Iberville St. and Wells St. in a southbound direction to the intersection of Wells St. and Poydras St. Southern Boundary: From the intersection of Wells St. and Poydras St. in a westbound direction to the intersection of Poydras St. and Loyola Ave. Western Boundary: From the intersection of Iberville St. and Basin St. in a southbound direction to the intersection of Loyola Ave and Poydras St. Parking spaces shall be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious, professional surroundings with a prevalence of modern design and/or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. A variety of inexpensive and moderately priced fast food or eat-in restaurants shall be located within the immediate vicinity of the building, but generally not exceeding a walkable 1/2 mile; other employee services, such as retail shops, cleaners, banks, etc., shall be located within the immediate vicinity of the building, but generally not to exceed a walkable 1/2 mile. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire, Life-Safety, Handicapped Accessibility and Seismicity. Parking spaces must be ready for tenant use immediately following lease award. Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and should include the following information: Building name/address, location of parking spaces and when they will be available, authorized contact information, written evidence of authorization to represent the ownership authority.
