- FBO DESCRIPTION FBO Description for Milk, Juice and Dairy The intent of this requirement is to supply milk for all three VAMHCS Sites. The VA Medical Center in Baltimore is seeking a contractor for a firm fixed price service contract to provide milk, juice, and dairy products for the Nutrition and Food Service departments at: Perry Point V A Medical Center, Building H, Perry Point, MD. 21902, Loch Raven Rehabilitation & Community Living Center, 3900 Loch Raven Blvd., Baltimore, MD. 21218 and V A Medical Center, 10 N. Greene Street, Baltimore MD. 21201. Offers shall be considered only from offerors who are regularly established in the business called for and who in the judgement of the Contracting Officer are financially responsible and able to show evidence of their reliability, ability, experience, equipment, facilities and personnel directly employed or supervised by them to render prompt and satisfactory service. This solicitation is being issued as commercial full and open. The NAICS code for this procurement is 311511 and the size standard is 500 employees. The period of performance will be for a base period with four (4) one-year options. The solicitation will be available for download on or about August 25, 2008 and bids will close on September 12, 2010 at 3 PM EST.
