- Solicitation IBM10R0009 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation IBM10R0009 is being issued in a Request for Proposal format. This solicitation document and its incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-40. IBM10R0009 is a total set-aside acquisition for small businesses. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 424690 for Other Chemical and Allied Products Merchant Wholesalers, with a corresponding small business standard of 100 employees. Only offers from small businesses will be considered for this solicitation. The U. S. Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) is seeking price quotes on (1) Sodium Hypochlorite, 12.5% liquid form in 300 lb totes and (2) Sulfur Dioxide, in 150 pound cylinders to be used at the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant in Rio Rico, AZ. Quantities are estimates only and are ordered on an as-needed basis. Delivery of the supplies shall be F.O.B. Destination within 5 days of order to the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant, 865 Rio Rico Industrial Park, Rio Rico, AZ 85648. A current Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is required to be submitted for each item offered. The contract period of performance will be for one (1) base year and four (4) option periods. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition (FAR provisions and clauses are available for review at http://www.arnet.gov/far ). Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall complete and return a copy of provision of 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items or update and complete ORCA online. The clause at 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
