Description

Solicitation Documents Part 3 Solicitation Documents Part 2 Solicitation Documents Part 1 S ynopsis: GSA is seeking a firm capable of performing the following work at the U.S. Post Office/ Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse, 100 E. 8 th St. Pine Bluff, AR. The scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to, the Modernization of Two (2) existing elevators. Provide new : solid state microprocessor controls, machines, drives, jack, cabs. All work performed under this contract shall meet or exceed the current ASME-A17.1 Elevator Code and the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards. The project number is RAR06017 and the estimated cost is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The NAICS Code is 238290 and the current size standard is $13 Million. It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 365 days to complete. Award of any resulting procurement will be based on a source selection, best value to the Government, methodology. Additionally, the selected contractor shall perfom on the site, and with its own organization, work equivalent to at least 85 percent of the total amount of work to be performed under the contract. The proposal due date is October 1, 2010. The date for a pre-proposal conference/site will be September 9, 2010 as posted as part of the attached Solicitation documents. We consider attendance at this conference vital to the preparation of a competitive and cost effective proposal and to understanding the total result desired by the Government. Failure to attend this meeting may not be used as an excuse for omissions and miscalculations in offers. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration at http://www.ccr.gov and have completed the Representations and Certifications contained in the solicitation documents.
