RFQ DOCUMENT, must be fille dout and returned with proposal. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation RFQ - VEHICLE MAINT. TRAINING - Reference (F3MT180231A001) Requesting Agency: 682 ASOS POPE AFB, NC 28308 Purchasing Agency: 43D Contracting Squadron - 43 CONS/LGCB 2352 Surveyor St, Bldg 737 Pope AFB, NC 28308-2896 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) IAW FAR Part 12 and 13. Submit written quotes in reference to Request for Quote (RFQ) reference number F3MT180231A001. This will be a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 611513. The small business size standard is $7MIL. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. Potential bidders are to quote for the performance of the following requirement IAW the SOW provided below: • CLIN 0001-- 20 Day Vehicle Maintenance Class for 5 Mechanics at 886 Condor Country Rd, Chaw AFB, SC 29154 STATEMENT OF WORK FOR Instructor led LMTVA1 training at Shaw AFB, SC 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor shall provide instructor led training/course for the LMTVA1. 1.1. BASIC SERVICES. The contractor shall provide all associated courseware to include books, manuals, CD/DVD, pre-tests and the final certification examination for the LMTVA1 course training. 2. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES. The Government shall provide trucks with which training can be conducted as well as a covered bay in the event of inclement weather. 3. GENERAL INFORMATION. Classes will be conducted on shop floor. 3.3. HOURS OF OPERATION. Classroom instruction from 0800L to 1600L, 20 Sept to 5 Oct, Monday thru Friday. 3.4 PURPOSE OF TRAINING. To familiarize students with the different types of LMTVA1 models, their components and the function of said components. Students will gain knowledge of all related safety practices when operating LMTV's. Students will learn to evaluate LMTV diagnostic information and fault codes using the MSD/ICE kit. Students will also become familiar with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and power train systems of the LMTV. A quotation is not an offer and, consequently, cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Therefore, issuance by the Government of an order in response to a supplier's quotation does not establish a contract. The order is an offer by the Government to the supplier to buy certain supplies or services upon specified terms and conditions. A contract is established when the supplier accepts the offer. When appropriate, the contracting officer may ask the supplier to indicate acceptance of an order by notification to the Government, preferably in writing. In other circumstances, the supplier may indicate acceptance by furnishing the supplies or services ordered or by proceeding with the work to the point where substantial performance has occurred. If the Government issues an order resulting from a quotation, the Government may (by written notice to the supplier, at any time before acceptance occurs) withdraw, amend, or cancel its offer.
