- Proposals are being requested for request for information/quote and a written solicitation will be posted on or before 7 September 2010 with a Statement of Work attached. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns and is under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 423610, with number of employees not to exceed 500. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to furnish, install, test, and inspect camera systems in the Youth Center (Bldg 5313) at Eielson AFB, AK in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation as commercially practiced. BASE/CENTRAL MONITORING AND RECORDING EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION (or equal): ITEM Digital Video Recorder 1 ea Indoor Minidome Cameras with Mounting Harware 13 ea Outdoor Minidome Cameras with Mounting Hardware 2 ea Freight, Cable and Installation 1 ea Site visit will be conducted per the below date, time, and location. All offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy yourselves regarding all general and local conditions. Please provide the following information for access to military installation: company name, representative's first and last name, social security number, and driver's license number via email to kathleen.sao@eielson.af.mil, SITE VISIT DATE MEETING AT 14 September 2010 at Youth Center, Bld 5313 1000 (AKDT) Eielson AFB AK 99702 Submit all questions in a written format via, email or word document by 14 September 2010 (Tues), 1630hrs (4:30pm) AKDT. All questions and answers will be posted within seven (7) days after receipt. Quotes must be submitted and received no later than 15 September 10 4:30pm Alaska Daylight Time. Quotes may be e-mailed to the attention of primary P.O.C.s listed below or faxed to 907-377-2389. Funds are not presently available for this request. The Government's obligation is contingent upon the availability of funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on part of the Government for any obligation to contract or payment may arise until funds are made available and until the Contractor receives notice by way of written agreement from the Contracting officer. Request for information/quote shall be valid through 1 October 2010 due to the unfunded end of year requirement. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. Telephone bids will not be processed. Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with Central Contractor (CCR).
