Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis 1 each of a Mikro-Pulverizer Model 1SH to include the following: 304 Stainless Steel on all contact parts. 150 grit polish on product contact surfaces; Handle 200 SCFM and up to 150 F. Side bag removal collector style with quick open man access door (black neoprene) for bag removal; Clean air plenum of 12 gauge carbon steel with flanged clean gas discharge; 12 gauge 304L SS steel filter housing and hopper; Pyramid hopper (60 degree min. side slope) with radial diffuser inlet and flanged discharge drilled to customer specification; 10 gauge 304 L SS tubesheet with integral SS bag hubs and galvanized venturis; Stainless steel clamps provided loose, used to secure bags; (9) galvanized steel bag cages (11 gauge wire, 12 wires); (9) 5-3/4" diameter filter bags, 4 ft. long, raw top style, 16 oz. singed polyester with ground wires (3) Goyen cast aluminum diaphragm valves; Solid state timer shipped without enclosure; Goyen solenoid valves in cast aluminum NEMA 7/9 housing, 60 Hz; Inspection port in hopper, 8 diameter; Supports framed out to provide access to a 55 gallon drum (drum by others) with 5 ft. clearance under hopper flange, carbon steel; Sly standard prime and finish enamel paint on exterior and prime coat only on interior for carbon steel surfaces; 18 x 36 explosion panel (size estimated until Kst & Pmax values and length of vent duct are provided.); Duct flange around explosion panel to facilitate attaching the duct through the wall. This procurement is sole sourced to Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems, 10 Chatham Road, Summit, NJ 07901, due do meeting footprint requirements and being compatible with the existing electrical infrastructure. Any firms believing that they can provide the specific materials stated above, may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing its ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the material or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
