- Description
- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Lee, VA, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to ADT SECURITY SYSTEMS, INC., 3601 Eisenhower Ave., 3rd Floor, Alexandria, VA 22304 to install, label, test and certify the Safe and Secure system for AIT Complex buildings 18021, 18022, 18023, 18024, 18025, and 18026. (Three of the six buildings (18024, 18025, and 18026) will expand the existing ADT system already installed under a previous contract.) The contractor will provide the necessary routine and emergency services maintenance related to the Safe and Secure system. The system will consist of lighting, cameras, keypads, contact panels, and motion sensors to provide safety and security to soldier's barracks. This acquisition will be procured under 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a Request for Quote, Proposal or Invitation for Bid. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax or email requests will not be honored. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. Interested parties may submit their capabilities package to the e-mail address below by 3:00 p.m. 8 SEPTEMBER 2010, however information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed acquisition is within the discretion of the Government.
