Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is M67861-10-T-0086 and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-41. This solicitation is unrestricted and the NAICS code is 423910. The requirement is for the procurement of cardiovascular and strength equipment. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial items, is applicable and the evaluations factors being used are low price and technically acceptable with acceptable past performance. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, is applicable. All other applicable contract clauses and contract requirements are listed on the attached solicitation. Quotations are due no later than September 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. CST.
