- THIS MODIFICATION WILL EXTEND THE RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS FOR THIS REQUIREMENT; AS WELL AS PROVIDE ADDITIONAL CLARIFICATION ON THE FOLLOWING 2 ISSUES: ISSUE 1 : Page 7of the RFP notes "This access shall include OEM Help Desk online and telephone support 24 hrs. per day, 7 days a week, including Federal Holidays, see Section 2.1". However on page 10, the support level are outlined as: 1) OEM Parts 7x24x366/4hr with 4 hour maximum response time and; 2) OEM Part 7x24x366/NBD with next business day maximum response time. CISCO SmartNet when offered as 7x24x366 is only available with 4 hour maximum response time. When offered a choice from the following three (3) options: Option 1: Entire Equipment List with Level SNTP 7x24x366 with 4 hour maximum response time; or Option 2: Entire Equipment List with Level SNT 8x5 with next business day maximum response time; or Option 3: Entire Equipment List with items marked as "4 Hours" in Column P, FY11 Response time with Level SNTP 7x24x366 with 4 Hour maximum response time; and Items marked as "NBD" in Column P, FY11 Response Time with Level SNT 8x5 with next business day maximum response time. USDA REQUIREMENTS ARE FOR: OPTION 3 - ENTIRE EQUIPMENT LIST WITH ITEMS MARKED AS "4 HOURS" IN COLUMN P, FY11 RESPONSE TIME WITH LEVEL SNTP (7X24X366 WITH 4 HR MAXIMUM RESPONSE TIME); ITEMS MARKED AS "NBD" IN COLUMN P, FY11 RESPONSE TIME WITH LEVEL SNT (8X5 WITH NEXT BUSINESS DAY MAXIMUM RESPONSE TIME). ISSUE 2 : THE NITC HAS THE REQUIREMENT FOR ALL ITEMS TO PLACE CALLS DIRECTLY WITH THE OEM. THE NITC TECHNICIANS NEED TO BE ABLE TO CONTACT THE OEM TEHCNICAL SUPPORT (AS STATED IN THE REQUIREMENTS IN SECTION 2.3) DIRECT AND NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH ANOTHER PARTY FIRST AND PLACE SERVICE REQUESTS FOR OEM REPLACEMENT PARTS (AS STATED IN THE REQUIREMENTS IN SECTION 2.4 OF THE RFP) DIRECTLY WITH OEM. Receipt of proposals are extended to September 8, 2010 and due no later than 2:00 pm, eastern standard time, and should be sent via email to the Contracting Officer at shirley.fortune@usda.gov and the technical liaison Barbara.Smith@ocio.usda.gov.
