- Description
- This is a Sources Sought Announcement for the Department of the Air Force/Air Education and Training Command/902d Contracting Squadron for which the agency is seeking to find qualified businesses. The agency requires a SE0223 PBG Portable Oxygen Regulator Tester (1 EA). This is a brand name or equal requirement. The nature of work in our altitude chambers for pilot training demands we have the ability to test a myriad of different types of equipment that goes into the chamber to ensure student safety. The chamber cannot be moved, so testing our equipment requires not only a portable tester, but one that can function with a host of different types of oxygen equipment. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR FORMAL PROPOSALS. This notice is for market research to determine applicability and pricing information only. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses under this announcement. Any proprietary information should be so marked. This request is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this announcement. Interested organizations presenting a capability statement in response to this sources sought announcement must identify their size status and NAICS Codes Certifications. RESPONDENTS MUST SUBMIT CAPABILITY STATEMENT VIA EMAIL to Jaime Morrison, at jaime.morrison@randolph.af.mil, no later than 8 September 2010, 4:30 Central Standard Time, for consideration.
