- The Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation Lower Colorado Region Management Services Office has a requirement for a mobile paint spray booth. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Proposals are being requested and a request for quotation (RFQ) numbered R10PS30399 will be issued to facilitate electronic quotation submissions. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 2005-43. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 333411 Air Purification Equipment Manufacturing. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 333411 is 500 employees. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed-price type. Line item 0001: The contractor shall provide 1 ea. paint spray booth, 1 ea. filter replacement set, and 100 ea. pre-filter skins, all of which meet the following specifications: (1) Paint spray booth specifications(i) 96" high(ii) 60" wide(iii) 32" deep(iv) Attached curtain enclosure with drape track extending out 96" and 120" wide(v) Curtain constructed of 20 MIL clear, fire-retardant PVC meeting NFPA 701 requirements(vi) Onboard automatic dry chemical fire extinguishing system installed by a distributor trained IAW UL Listing #92G0(vii) Explosion-proof motor and controls(viii) Gauge monitors to display filter efficiency(ix) 5" casters for mobility(x) 1-1/2 hp 3500 CFM motor/fan assembly UL Listed for use in hazardous environments(xi) Operates off 110-volt electrical outlet(xii) Controls have hazardous location enclosure switch UL Listed for NEMA 7 and 9 enclosures (2) Filter replacement set specifications(i) 3 ea. 100% activated charcoal filters(ii) 2 ea. odor-suppressing pleated carbon filters(iii) 2 ea. high-efficiency paint filters(iv) 1 ea. 3-ply link panel filter(v) 12 ea. pre-filter skins (3) 100 ea. pre-filter skins An example of an acceptable mobile paint spray booth is the Shop-Pro Model No. 5410 or equal. Items shall be delivered FOB destination to Bureau of Reclamation, 500 Fir Street, Boulder City, NV 89005. Estimated delivery is on or before October 25th, 2010. The following provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation action: FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial. FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Item. Offers will be evaluated based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable, responsive quote from a responsible offeror. Offers will be considered acceptable if the equipment offered meets all of the above specifications. FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. Offerors shall include in their offers a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3 or indicate completion of the applicable Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
