Description
On behalf of the Program Executive Office Integration Picatinny Office, the US Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions and Lethality Contracting Center, is seeking potential sources that have the capability to provide Workplace Automation Support Services. The place of performance is Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. Interested sources shall provide information providing experience and capabilities with regards to the following requirements. (1) Provide Windows PC administration and backup to include installation and administration of software applications such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and other applications as needed and user desktop connectivity requirements. The contractor shall interface with the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) for coordination of activities as needed and remain consistent with the Picatinny NEC computing standards and guidelines. Software to be supported includes: (a) MS-Office, (b) MS Exchange, (c) Internet tools such, as FTP, and INTERNET browsers, (d) government owned local software, and (e) other PC based software as needed. PCs to be supported include both desktop units and portable laptop units. PC hardware installation and software troubleshooting knowledge is required; (2) provide VTC support such as scheduling, set-up, and maintaining the VTC capability on the office premises. Tasks include but are not limited to: establishing and maintaining a commercial bridge account, coordinating VTC activities between organizations, monitoring equipment status and implementing repair activities as necessary; (3) Contractor shall provide end user support which includes assistance on general software installation debugging and maintenance at the desktop workstation level. Desktop systems will include MSDOS and Windows PC systems. Contractor shall provide individualized technical training support to end users as needed to facilitate their use of and interaction with the overall-computing environment; (4) responsible for implementing Picatinny NEC standards for compliant electronic communications in the office to include laptop and desktop computers, Air Cards, Blackberries and other electronic communication devices and shall ensure PEO Integration office is in compliance. Nodes shall be kept compliant as required by various Picatinny NEC connectivity requirements; (5) assume all duties of network support in the absence of the assigned network personnel. Tasks include but not limited to setting up new accounts, assigning and changing passwords, troubleshooting problems on the network and network maintenance as required. The contractor shall assist the network personnel in all areas that require multiple personnel interface as needed; (6) personnel shall have verifiable certifications as required by Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8570.1. The certifications shall be credentials in accordance with the Directive; a T-1 certification is required for performance under this contract. The contractor will have a working knowledge of the current Data Backup Solution (CommVault) to provide a backup/restore of customer data. The contractor will be sufficiently proficient in Symantec Ghost or equivalent to Image computers for use within the customer organization; and (7) personnel are required to have access to unclassified/sensitive AIS information. Each contractor employee is required to have a Personal Security Investigation. Each contractor employee is required to complete a DD Form 398-2, DoD National Agency Questionnaire (NAQ). Items (6) and (7) are required prior to contract award. In addition to CIO G-6/NETCOM IA Technical Level 1 certification the following is required for contractor personnel who may perform this effort. Personnel shall have a BS in Computer Science from a recognized degree-granting university. Personnel shall have a certification in CompTia Network + (plus) and Symantec Ghost Imaging. A five (5) year (FY11-FY16) Firm Fixed Price contract is contemplated for this effort.
