- Spec ag95cvs100028 SF 18 RFQ The US Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service in Riverside, CA has a requirement for a 3 D Earth Resistivity Measurement and Imaging System. Our intended use will be to measure soil resistivity (salinity) under field conditions. Specifications: Minimum 8 channel, automatic resistivity /IP imaging system for 3-D surveys. Minimum 56 stainless steel electrodes with minimum 2.0 m cable spacing Ability for auto multi-electrode switching to obtain information from possible electrode combinations Powered by 12v DC external supply (user will provided) Min 0.10 microvolt signal resolution Min 150 watt 2 Amp transmitter output 4 digit screen resolution Automatic input gain ranging Output current 1 mA-2Amp Programmable for variable array Automatic SP noise suppression Ability to operate min of 50 electrodes Noise suppression 100dB at frequency equal or greater than 20 Hz Adjustable resistivity time cycles 0.2-7 sec min Data storage min 60,000 measurements Display and store resistivity, current intensity and measured voltage RS232C channel for data transfer to user supplied computer with Windows Processing software for data inversion and output of apparent resistivity imaging in 1, 2 and 3 Dimensions to run on Windows XP including ability to display time lapse in 2 and 3 D and continuous resistivity profiling. The SuperSting R8/IP 951100 with options and accessories will meet our needs other manufactures products will be considered on the basis of best value to meet our research requirements.
