- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Simplified acquisition procedures will be utilized in accordance with FAR Part 13. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to procure the following test equipment manufactured by Agilent Technologies, Inc.: One (1) PXA Signal Analyzer 3Hz-26.5 GHz, Part Number: N9030A-526; One (1) Rackmount and Handle Kit, Part Number: N9030A-1CP; One (1) DVD-ROM/CD-R/RW drive, Part Number N9030A-DVR; One (1) Basic EMC Functionality, Part Number: N9030A-EMC; One (1) Additional hard drive, Part Number: N9030A-HDD; One (1) Low Noise Path, Part Number N9030A-LNP; One (1) Preamplifier, 26.5GHz, Part Number: N9030A-P26, One (1) Basic VSA-lite, Part Number: 89601XFP-205; One (1) Vector Modulation Analysis, Part Number 89601XFP-AYA; One (1) MATLAB “ Advanced Signal Analysis Package, Part Number N6171A-M03; One (1) Noise Figure Measurement Application, Part Number: N9069A-1FP. The items to be procured are to support on-going preventative and corrective maintenance efforts. The equipment to be procured must meet a stringent set of form, fit, and functions requirements in order to properly maintain mission critical equipment. The Government conducted market research for equipment that would meet the Government's form, fit, function, connectivity, and physical requirements. The Agilent products were the only items that met the Government's specifications, without modification to the hardware and software of the maintained equipment. This procurement will be competed amongst authorized Agilent resellers. Award is estimated on 21 September 2010. Quotes may be submitted no later than 5pm EST on 16 September 2010 by EMAIL in to Carrie.Moore1 @navy.mil or by FAX to: 540-653-7088. Email or Fax should reference Request for Quote N00178-10-Q-1655 in the subject line. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment offices may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor's EFT information contained in the CCR database. This order will be subject to Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) procedures.
