Description

The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for the furnishing of ambulance services for the VA Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. Contractor shall provide ALS and BLS ground ambulance services for veteran beneficiaries 365 days/year, 24 hours/day. Services include standby ambulance services during Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) procedures in case of misadventure and immediate transportation of patient from the medical center to the affiliate hospital is required. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 621910 and the Size Standard is $7.0 Million. Contract term will be for a base period of one year with option to renew 4 additional one-year periods. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated on the technical evaluation factors contained within the solicitation. Request for Proposals will be available on or about September 8, 2010. Due date for receipt of offers is October 8, 2010, 2:00 p.m. CST. Anticipated effective date for services to begin is November 1, 2010.
