Description

J&A Document The United States Department of Justice (Department or DOJ), specifically the Justice Management Division (JMD) has a requirement for on-call messenger/delivery support services. These critical services will be provided through the Special Messenger Center (SMC) which shall have responsibility for providing unclassified messenger and delivery services for the Department of Justice (DOJ) in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing on-call special messenger services for the pickup and delivery of time sensitive mail (envelopes, bags and boxes) between DOJ facilities and other locations in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Materials transported under this BPA may be Sensitive but Unclassified and/or Unclassified. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, and vehicles required to provide the services stipulated herein. Performance under this requirement began on September 01, 2010 by way of placement of the initial call by the Administrative Contracting Officer. Performance shall be for a period not-to-exceed six (6) months. The initial call and any subsequent calls will not exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT).
