- VISN 22 Network Contracting Activity, Long Beach California intends to enter into a sole source contract with W. W. Grainger, Inc. 100 Grainger Pkwy, Lake Forest, IL 60045-5203. This BOS announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued; a separate written solicitation shall NOT be issued. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Request for Quotation is RFQ VA-262-10-RQ-0505. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 424990. The VA Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS) intends to purchase a Mass Fatality Storage System. The following Grainger part numbers apply however are not limited to the following: E-Plug-500-8, 72FY07, E-BOX-500-83-1-FULL, E-Bed-500-21-32, E-Tray-1, E-Box-500-83-2-half, 4PJA1, 4PHZ3, 4PHZ8. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government shall consider all proposals received by 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time Monday, September 13, 2010. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries shall be accepted.
