Description
The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC) Joint Munitions & Lethality (JM&L) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of The US Army Research and Development Center is seeking sources to program, install, and debug a refurbished Wheaton Detonator loader that was built to support explosive loading operations at Picatinny Arsenal. The installation will take place in the explosive pilot plant facility. The contractor should have the following competencies: Past experience with the design of explosive loading equipment; Detailed knowledge of DA PAM 385-64; Detailed knowledge of AMC R 385-100; Past experience with explosion proof equipment installation; Past experience with the grounding and bonding of equipment. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their interests and capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, information pertaining to experience on previous projects, specific work previously performed or being performed and any other specific and pertinent information as pertains to this particular area of procurement that would enhance our consideration and evaluation of the information submitted. All information is to be submitted via email (10MB limit) at no cost or obligation to the Government; information provided will not be returned. Please provide the name of your firm, address, POC, phone/fax number, and email address. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will accept written questions by email. Interested firms/companies are encouraged to submit their capabilities/qualification data NO LATER THAN September 17, 2010. This is a Sources Sought/Market Survey Announcement and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFP), nor is the Government obligated to issue an RFP/RFQ. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey.
