Description
Subject to final approval. The Bureau of the Public Debt, Administrative Resource Center, Division of Procurement, intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement, in accordance with FAR 60302-1, using simplified acquisition procedures (FAR13) to Mid-Town Parking Inc., 1750 K Street, NW, Suite 350 Washington DC, 20006 for the Renewal of 13 Parking spaces, for a 12 month preiod. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. Nature and Description of Action: TIGTA is currently utilizing Mid-Town Parking Inc. to meet their parking needs and is in need of continued servcie for 2011 in order to ensure adequate parking needs are met. A sole source is intended for this order. No other source is known or has been located within one block of 1125 15th Street, NW Room 700A, Washington, DC 20005 that is able to provide the required services. The Bureau of the Public Debt, on behalf of TIGTA has a requirement for thirteen (13) parking spaces for the period of October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. The contractor shall provide indoor parking spaces that have twenty-four hour, seven days a week access, in and out priveledges, self-parking. response to emergency situations, and assigned spaces, Due to the senstive equipment installed in law enforcement vehicles, the contractor will not leave the vehicles unsecured and will not have access to vehicle keys. Vehicles will be locked at all times. Vehicles cannot be double parked as this could cause unknown delays exiting the facility and unauthorized access to vehicles by attendants. The parking boundaries required are within a one block radius of 1125 15th Street, NW Room 700A, Washington, DC 20005. No solicitation document is available. The Bureau of the Public Debt will consider all affirmative responses received no later than September 13, 2010. Affirmative responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show how it would be advantageous to the government to switch providers for this requirement. A request for more information will not be considered an affirmative response. If no written response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all the requirements and that is more advantageous to the Government, we intend to negotiate a sole-source award to Mid-Town Parking, Inc. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The intended period of perfomance for this requirement is 10/01/2010 - 09/30/2011.
