- This solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for one base year and up to 4 option years that will provide stock replenishment coverage in support of military depots. NSN(s): 4820-01-307-8822 Item Description: VALVE AND FRAME ASSEMBLY. USED IN MARINE CORPS SIXCON SYSTEM. Drawing Number (if applicable): 01365 845010A3500 Quantity: Indefinite quantities with pricing based on 4 quantity ranges. Estimated annual demand is 169 each. Unit of Issue: EACH Destination Information: various DLA stock locations. Delivery Schedule: phased delivery with initial quantity of 85 each to be delivered in 240 days and incremental quantities up to 42 each to be delivered every 30 days thereafter. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available in DIBBS on or about 9-23-10. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Drawings/specifications will be available through the DIBBS solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed __5___ years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
