- ****This procurement is set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.**** *** Responses will be due on 9/14/2010 4:00 PM EST. *** The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Health Care System (VACHS), is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.102 (c). The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720 with small business size standard being $16.5M. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, inspections, and reports necessary to perform Building Cleaning Services for the VACHS Garage Building located at San Juan VA Medical Center, 10 Casia Street, San Juan, Puerto Rico. The period of performance shall be for four years one (1) base year plus three (3) one year option periods from the date of award. Please refer to the solicitation packet attached for complete information. Interested Oferrors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for Award. Vendors may register with CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or (269) 961-5757, or by accessing www.ccr.gov. VA Caribbean Health Care System (VACHS) intends to award a Performance Based Contract firm-fixed price agreement. The proposals will be evaluated to determine which proposal provides the Best Value to the Government. Evaluation and award will be made on the basis of the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable source selection process, as per FAR part 15.101-2. All offerors shall comply with the evaluation factors stated in this solicitation. All offerors shall submit a proposal in accordance with the Statement of Work. In addition, all offerors must include a completed copy of the FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with its offer It is anticipated that award will be made on or about September 30, 2010. Proposals submitted in response to this notice; shall include the solicitation number in the subject line shall be duly signed, dated and submitted via email to Victoria.robles@va.gov.
