Description
Intent to Award a Sole Source Purchase Order Restore America's Estuaries 2010 National Conference on Coastal and Estuarine Habitat Restoration The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Restore America's Estuaries for conference sponsorship/support and an internet café at the 2010 National Conference on Coastal and Estuarine Habitat Restoration. Background: The 5th National Conference on Coastal and Estuarine Habitat Restoration on Galveston Island, Texas, Nov. 13-17, 2010 with over 1,000 attendees and 130 exhibitors is the leading conference addressing the future of America's coasts, including the impacts of this summer's oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Scheduled are presentations and posters by several EPA offices, including submissions from David Evans, Division Director of Wetlands Division/OWOW. OWOW Director, Denise Keehner will be speaking at a panel dedicated to federal agencies. Administrator Lisa Jackson has been invited to speak at the Second Plenary Session: Restoring Coastal Ecosystem Resilience in Times of Change: A New National Agenda Grounded in Science and Community Engagement. The U.S. EPA Office of Water, Office of Wetlands, Oceans, and Watersheds seeks to obtain services from the Restore America's Estuaries (RAE) for lead sponsorship of the 5th National Conference on Coastal and Estuarine Habitat Restoration. Lead sponsorship includes the following: 1. Most prominent listing with logo in all Conference materials and at the event; 2. Verbal and visual recognition at Conference plenary session; 3. Full-page advertisement in the Conference program; 4. Most prominent and complimentary 10' x 10' exhibit booth space, with a table and two chairs; 5. Five (5) complimentary Conference registrations; 6. Recognition and logo hyperlink on Conference website (https://www.estuaries.org/sponsors-a-partners.html.) In addition to the standard Lead Sponsorship, RAE will provide the following: 1. Co-sponsorship of a large exhibit space where approximately 14 agencies and organizations will offer relevant habitat restoration and climate change information to attendees. 2. Co-sponsorship of all meeting room space and associated audio/visual equipment to accommodate plenary, concurrent, and poster sessions held during the four-day Conference. 3. Co-sponsorship of a side-meeting room designed to give Restore America's Estuaries Conference attendees appropriate meeting space to hold discussions with colleagues and to make agency staff available to answer questions in person. In addition to Lead Sponsorship, RAE will provide an Internet Café for visitors to the Restoration Expo that includes: 1. Prominent listing with logo in all Conference materials and at the event; 2. Quarter-page advertisement in the Conference Program; 3. One 8' x 10' exhibit booth space, with a table and two chairs; 4. Two (2) complimentary Conference registrations; 5. Recognition and logo hyperlink on Conference website; 6. Organizational logo on each kiosk in the Internet Café; 7. Large organizational banner above Internet Café; 8. Organizational logo/message on the desktop/screensaver of each computer; 9. Opportunity to provide EPA materials at each kiosk NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, an organization who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirements as stated herein may contact the POC.
