Description
DOT Regulation for Control Tower Shades FAA Specification for Control Tower Shades Edwards AFB Requirement: Window Shaded for Air Traffic Control Tower The solicitation number is F1SAA0169B001. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Sub-Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-39 and DFARs Change Notice (DNC) 20100908. NAICS is 337920 and the size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The AFFTC/PKE, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to purchase: 12 control tower window shades. Control tower shades IAW AFI13-203 AFMCSUP 1 28 August 2007, para 5.13. Control tower Plastic Window Shades. Use of standard specification FAA-E-2407B for control tower plastic window shades IAW FAAO 6480.18. Local units must use these specifications when ordering replacements. The requirements for ATCT Transparent Plastic Window Shades and the Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration Specification (Transparent Plastic Window Shades)are attached. Measurements are not available except through site visit. Site visitors must be accompanied to the location. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in the attached SOW are invited to submit in writing a complete quote to include the following: 1. Detail Material Listing to include quantities 2. Price listing of each item 3. Past Performance for jobs that are similar in size and scope for the last three years. 4. Installation by an Authorized PV-128 Installer 5. Delivery Date (estimated) 6. Completion Date (estimated) No partial bids for the items listed above will be accepted. FOB destination Edwards AFB CA 93524. A site visit will be conducted on 13 September 2010 on Edwards AFB, CA. Interested parties please respond via email with individuals names that will be attending the site visit by 9:00 a.m., 13 September 2010. The following clause applies: Clause 52.237-1, Site Visit, Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
