The United States Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District (Corps)intends to award Task Order 0031 under IDIQ contract W912EK-08-D-0002. PHASE I ARCHEOLOGICAL INTENSIVE, RECONAISSANCE, AND ARCHITECTURAL SURVEYS ON ALTERNATIVE 4C AND BORROW FOR THE CEDAR RIVER; The United States Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District (Corps) and the City of Cedar Rapids (City), Linn County, Iowa are planning to conduct the Cedar River, Cedar Rapids, Iowa Flood Risk Management Feasibility Study (FRMFS) Linn County, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and flood protection management measure Alternative 4C is determined to be the federally support plan as documented in the report: Cedar River, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Flood Risk Management Project Feasibility Study Report with Integrated Environmental Assessment (draft dated August 2010).
