Description
GENERAL INFORMATION The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza, Bldg 804, Maxwell AFB, AL has a requirement to purchase items as described in the Schedule of Supplies/Services. This is a streamlined combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice. A written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a request for quote (Reference-Number F2XHE50188A003). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43 (2 Aug 2010) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20100820. It is the contractor's responsibility to become familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. A Firm Fixed Priced Award will be made in accordance with the following the Schedule of Supplies: NAICS Code:334119; size standard: 1000 employees The Defense Priorities and Allocations System rating is C9E. IMPORTANT NOTE: THE GOVERNMENT IS SOLICITING FOR "OPEN MARKET" QUOTES ONLY. GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (GSA) QUOTES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. NATURE OF ACQUISITON: Air University at Maxwell AFB has a requirement for Smart Board Technology or equal, to the statement of work attached, along with installation. The Schedule of Supplies/Services provides all items and quantities required. This procurement will be awarded under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. QUOTATION PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS To ensure timely and equitable evaluation of quotes, offerors must comply with the following instructions. Quotes must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this RFQ. a. The offeror must the accede to all solicitation requirements, including technical, and the terms and conditions by submitting the following statement with your response to this solicitation: "I accede to all of the requirements of this synopsis/solicitation, including specifications (CLINs 0001 through 0009), and terms and conditions." b. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Alternate I, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items and DFARS 252.225-7035, Buy American Act Certificate with quotation. c. Offerors must provide a unit price and extended price for all items referenced in the "SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES". d. Interested parties capable of providing the requirement must submit a written quote to include discount terms, tax identification number, cage code, and DUNS. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, contractors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions. Toyama, Contract Specialist, Phone (334) 953-8083. Statement of Work MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD SYSTEMS 1. Must be able to write or perform mouse functions by touching the board with a pen or your finger, and erase using the eraser tool - no proprietary tools should be required. Users must be able to write with a pen, erase with your palm and move objects with their fingers without having to access additional tools, buttons or on-screen menus. 2. Users must be able to write notes in digital ink over any document, application or website on the interactive whiteboard and save it as a screenshot in a PDF or PPT file. Work must be able to be captured easily. Functionality must include the ability to read, write, print and save notes directly into applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD. 3. If user picks up a pen or the eraser and the system must automatically detect which tool has been selected. Buttons on the Pen Tray will activate an On-Screen keyboard, right-click and help functions. 4. System must be able to switch between all connected audiovisual devices directly from the extended control panel. The panel must provide centralized control of your classroom technology, including DVD players, document cameras and VCRs. User must be able to move from a website to a video documentary to a review question, quickly and seamlessly. The control panel must also have a dual-USB port that enables the connection of two computers to facilitate switching between the two of them as required. PROJECTION SYSTEMS As well as all of the above features (1-4), the projection systems must have an 87" (221 cm) interactive whiteboard and an ultra-short-throw projector that offers a 16:10 aspect ratio and native WXGA (1,280 x 800) widescreen The projection system must utilize a resilient, hard-coated, polyester front sheet is secured over a robust aluminum composite backboard. The surface must be tear-proof, optimized for projection, compatible with dry-erase markers and easily cleaned. OVERLAY SYSTEMS As well as all of the above features (1-4), the touch-sensitive overlay screen must enable the user to use their finger to move through presentations, navigate websites or control computer applications. The system must utilize a touch-friendly surface that is chemical and scratch resistant and surface must reduce glare and protect the display. Control of panel settings must be available from the interactive overlay. Overlays will fit over a 52" LCD display.
